Well, everything went smoothly. The inbound ORD-EWR flight was 20 minutes early into Terminal A, the air train to take me to Terminal C ended up being only a 5 minute wait, and the security line at Terminal C was only about another 5-10 minutes. Our gate ended up being C72 which was close to one of the security checkpoints, and I even had about 10 minutes to kill before they started boarding. I was a happy camper.

Thanks to all who inputed their opinions/suggestions.

No way? I've made AMS-EWR-XXX connections that were as little as 45 minutes several times. Customs at EWR is a total crapshoot. Sometimes I'm off the plane and out of customs in as little as 10 min. The advantage of AMS-EWR is it's one of the later intl arrivals and the terminal seems a little less busy at that time.
