It seems you're hitting all the different boards (I saw the same question on the AA board).

Try checking the airline web sites, they've designed their sites so that you can get the answer in less keystrokes/mouse clicks than it took to post your question on the different boards.

Since people have been putting questions about that topic i'm copying here the message I've posted on United forum.
I hope it introduces some clarification to the subject.

I have a good reason to do that: since i'm flying almost on Qualiflyer airlines and Air France I've chosen their ffp's because they are the best way to get elite status (and the benefits associated).

This is and hold question, i am aware of that but, since i live far away from major hubs, sometimes, it's hard to understand what award do i need when crossing award zones. When redeeming an award do airlines supply return flight between my country and there European hubs? and ow that affects the number of allowed segments on a free ticket? and ...

One thing i know, from Portugal to some other place: on a British Airways flight I'll have to connect in London, on a Lufthansa flight I'll have to probably connect in Frankfurt and on a KLM flight I'll have to connect in Amsterdam.

Since i intend to post the results here, i think this would be a great help for people living in countries like Poland, Slovakia, Denmark, Norway, Greece, ...

Don't call it web site, instead call it experiment.

In the beginning it was intended to be a repository of links to bonus, offers, and informations about airlines and hotels.
I tried to make it interactive so anyone could come and add their own links. These way we all could enjoy a database with lots of nice and useful links.
But i was wrong, people haven't add their links and it's impossible for just one person to track and add links for so many ffp's. The same problem to track the validity of links already added.

I thought i had found the solution in excluding links about offers and links about information and just consider links about bonus miles but i quickly found that i still didn't have enough time to do it. So, i'm doing what my schedule permits.
