More Miles Redemption Problems
As if there weren't enough, but this is really silly and sorry.
DFW or DAL to BHM (Yes, Birmingham, Alabama, burgeoning metropolis and mover/shaker of the business community!) From October 21st and forward to the end of the year NO StandardPass awards, only the EasyPass at 50k! What are these people thinking? |
And the funniest part about this is that their Reward Travel forecast of city pairs with lots of availability (at http://www.continental.com/onepass/n...00870BA4C6F42) is showing Houston to Birmingham. :-)

The higher your elite status and the closer to your desired fly dates will greatly increase your chanch of getting an award. I was amazed how many reward seats open 7-14 days for USA-Europe. Of course it makes other planning almost impossible.

Did you try looking at award availability separately?? IE
DAL/DFW-IAH and then IAH-BHM I have a feeling that the onepass people are blocking out all availability on Dallas-Houston route. |

Is it possible you're trying to book without a Saturday night stay?
CO still requires one if you want a standard award. |

Coair doesn't want onepass members to be able to use miles for business travel, only leisure travel.
Same reason as you state for regular fares. |

Circular logic = Revenue Management ????????)</font> Note to CO: AA is getting about 50% intl F and J fares from me, and 50% L, N domestically (sometimes Y, but not if I can help it since I pay for it), and I pay for the upgrades on domestic! Still happy with the choice I made. |
