Cabin Class Codes

I've recently attained elite status on CO and it appears itn.net shows cabin class availability that could potentially help in choosing the right flights for upgrades. My company usually books tickets one or two days prior to the flight. Can someone help decipher the codes?

This is what shows up for a flight I might have to take in two days.

Thanks for the help!

Also A and D are not cumulitive, but may be duplicitive, e.g. with A6, D6: A+D=6, A+D does not = 12. D may be less than A, though.

Y - Full fare coach
all others listed after Y are discounted coach. Generally the fares are in price order H > K > Q > T > V

Do not mix in A, D, F, or Y

Almost... I'm pretty sure that the coach ones go Y > H > K > B > V > Q > T

I believe "V" are promotional fares that are usually cheaper than Q or T. Or atleast this always holds true for routes I fly.

T is supposed to be cheaper than V and always has been in my experiences.

Y > H > K > B > V > Q > T is correct

Thanks for all of the replies. FWIW...I've noticed that V fares often mirror low-cost carriers' (i.e. Southwest's) cheap fares. This seems to hold true in the market I've been recently flying (IAH-TUL)

Anybody here knows if "G" is economy/business or first ?

T are by far the lowest rates. Q follow, and then V. If have had the order of Y-H-K-B-V-Q-T, then you are correct.

I wish you were booking my LON-WAS trips! V is usually ~£150-£200 more expensive that T http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

On a similar note to this topic, does anyone know if Continental has a "rule of thumb" for when non-upgradable first class inventory is dumped into the F bucket? A flight I'm taking tomorrow shows A5D4F0 and I'm trying to figure out my EUA chances.

Thanks!

Pardon me everyone but I think the correct order is:

H > O > K > E > Y > S > U > C > K > S

Since you are based out of IAH, if you aren't a plat, I'd guess slim. Although I flew last friday IAH-BWI and got a companion upgraded, so miracles do happen.
