I was able to register for both via the website. Didn't want to risk rejection from a customer service rep!

Let's Get It On!!
We are going to deliver another knock out punch to One Pass. One.....Two......Three.......... |
Thanks
Let's have a page like this updated monthly instead of having a 4-6 page general thread that no one can follow. |
Vulcan, fantastic job as always. Thanks a lot.
|
Judge Mills Lane,
I don't know why I'm asking this-- but are you who you claim to be, by any chance? And, yes-- more importantly, thank you Vulcan and let's hope this list of bonuses becomes as robust and lengthy as 2000/2001's renowned "Current GGONE Bonus" thread was. Maybe the good folks at AMEX could help out a bit... |
I think the "good folks at AMEX" are still licking their wounds from winter/spring.
But yes, a "little" help won't hurt anybody. |
One concern: If you register for both, is there a bigger chance of being "found out" and not getting either?

Just a thought! If you're booking for bonuses, of course it goes without saying to avoid Priceline and Hotwire like the plague.
But, if you're fairly confident of being upgraded, don't sweat the T fares. If you get upgraded your records will show XF instead of T, and you will get the bonus. However, if you fail to get upgraded, the T will show, and you'll be SOL. ------------------ In Economy...no one can hear you scream! |
What happens (assuming no upgrades on the T Fare legs) if you have at least one (but not all segments) in T class and the rest in other classes? Does this prevent you from any bonus at all??
|
I recently took a roundtrip on Continental using a Priceline ticket. Here's what happened:
1) I could not use the E-ticket machine. It asked for my confirmation number which is NOT provided by Priceline 2) I checked in using the First Class/One Pass Elite line 3) The agent did take and enter my OnePass Number 4) No upgrade outbound as all flights were full and obviously I missed the advance upgrade window 5) I was upgraded inbound 6) The flights did show up on my statement and were listed as T class outbound and XF inbound BUT I got ZERO MILEAGE So to summarize: You can get space available upgrades, but no mileage on a Priceline ticket. Originally posted by SemiElite: Just a thought! Originally posted by dguruswamy: You can get space available upgrades, but no mileage on a Priceline ticket. Personally, I think Priceline is great for hotels, but lousy for airline tix. Priceline is usually 40-50% of the best hotel rates I can find. But no Priceline air fare can touch some of the fares I've found online, such as the last LAX-EWR-DCA flight I just got back from for $125 RT...(or the $98 LAX-ORD fare that I just missed http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif ). Besides, it's far more important for me to build airline status than hotel status. A hotel upgrade is nice, but it isn't critical. But with my 6'1", 200+ lbs. frame, the airline upgrade is critical! ------------------ In Economy...no one can hear you scream! |
What happens if you begin your trip before Promo 16000 is effective? Does that disqualify you from earning the miles? I leave on Aug. 31 and come back on Sept. 3.
