Multiple destination check-in

I have a MR coming up with 8 segments over Saturday and Sunday with anywhere between 45mins to almost 2hrs between flights. At checkin on Saturday morning will I be able to checkin for all flights or will I have to checkin for my Sunday flights later?

I did a eight-segment run on CO recently and found the check-in rules baffling. Initially in EWR they only checked me in for the first segment. When I arrived at SFO I got the next three boarding passes. Part of my problem was that I kept transiting through EWR, and the system wouldn't let me check in for segment three from EWR when I still hadn't left on segment one. If you are not shuttling back and forth to the same airport I think you have a much better chance at getting multiple boarding passes.

Enjoy the ride. My limited experience suggests your main source of agita would be SEA-ANC-SEA. They'll probably say "You're out of synch. We can't print your boarding passes because the computer doesn't think you're actually here in Seattle right now since you're due to arrive here from ANC later." I'm guessing you'll get the rest of your BPs in ANC. You might do better with this thread in the MR forum. Those hardcores could probably give you a more definative response.

Will you have access to shower facilities along the way? On my MR I was able to shower in EWR PC both Saturday and Sunday mornings after arriving on the red eye from SFO. I felt great after my 48-hour run, but without the showers it would have been a much less pleasant experience for me and those around me.

I thought the rules said you can only check-in for 4 segments at a time? Anything more than four and some BP's have to be done at the airport.

Yes I will have access to the PC's, but not sure if I will have time. A shower would be nice.

Do you mean on-line check-in? My guess is CO.com will puke on an itinerary this large, and andyjo won't be able to check in for any flights on line. I suspect andyjo will be able to get four boarding passes upon check-in before the res gets out of synch.

If at all humanly possible, make time! EWR and IAH are probably the only PCs with showers. I don't know about any public showers at the other airports.

Question Acronyms

Please forgive my ignorance, but would someone please explain these acronyms for me: "MR" and also two upgrading acroyms, something like "EUA" and "EEA" or so.

Thanks,

I justed the showers at LAX in the Delta lounge, since the CO lounge didn't have them..

I believe a PC member can only use the DL lounge if either:
A) flying on DL metal or
B) a Plat/ST Elite+ with an intl itinerary.

MR = Mileage Run (and if you're not familiar with this concept I'll direct you to the Mileage Run forum to learn the mechanics and underlying sanity/lack thereof of Mileage Runners)
EUA= Not sure of the precise acronym, but it's CO's automated system for rewarding Elites with complimentary, space-available Upgrades either days or hours before a flight.
EEA= Not familiar with this. Could it be EER as in Emergency Exit Row?

Amazingly I was able to check-in online for the first four segments this morning. I wonder if I can checkin tommorow morning for the last four segments. I was under the impression that if your reservation had more than four segments back to back you wouldnt be able to check-in online.

I was also to grab some better seats, ie exit and bulkhead.

Thanks.
