Using PP coupons

Could someone tell me exactly how to book online and also use the discount coupon from the PP? Do I put it on hold at co.com and then call them to note it in my record that I am using a discount, and then mail in the coupon?

Can anyone tell me if the Presidents Club passes in these packs right now are good for just you, or you and a guest(s)? I was thinking about ordering a pack this year since it's been several years since I've had one.

You plus a guest unless they have changed it very recently (I ordered 12/31/04).

I just got my Prestige Pack today.

Two P-Club passes each good for 1 visit for person named on certificate and 1 guest.

Terms & Conditions for Companion & $ Off

I know the certificate is domestic, but has anyone has any luck using it to Hawaii? Also, it may be listed but is it for coach only or is First/BusinessElite allowed? I also was wondering if I could use them and the get Delta miles for the Itin? Anyone done this?

I remember buying one of these like 15 yrs ago.

I think that all the certs had the name of the account holder on the front and could not be used by anyone else,

is that still the case.
My friend wants the miles but I would like the goodies. :D

are they still non transferrable?

Does anyone have an answer to this question? Also, can it be done with the companion for $99 certificate?

I just called CO.O.L. to finalize a reservation using the prestige pack companion certificate (Reward code OPCR). The T&C's on the back of the cert don't mention any restrictions on upgrades, but the T&C's on the CSR's screen stated no upgrades allowed. Has anyone else had any luck getting a companion upgrade using the cert? F is wide open on the flights I'm looking at from EWR - MSY and I'm relatively certain that I will be able to get the Mrs. up front with me. If upgrades are not allowed I probably won't use the cert for this trip; I'll save it for a jungle jet trip.

i've never had problems with companion upgrades using any PP certificates (either dollars off or companion).

YMMV (your mileage may vary).

My last Prestige Pack (Sept '04), says that the $100 cert is valid to any destination served. Only classes mentioned that it excludes are Q and T.

Combining Upgrades and PP Certs

I too have questions about combining upgrades and Prestige Pack certificates. My wife is Platinum. I am a lowly no-status person on CO.

If I buy the Prestige Pack in my name, and I use the $99 companion certificate to take my wife along on a trip as my $99 companion, can she use her Platinum status to get herself upgraded? Can she then use her Platinum status to get me upgraded on an Elite comanion upgrade?

Now, if my wife buys the Prestige Pack in her name, she can expect to get upgraded because of her status. If I fly as her $99 companion, could she use her Platinum status to get me an Elite companion upgrade to first class?

I would prefer to buy the Prestige Pack myself, because I am much more likely to make use of the goodies ($100-off certificate, rental car coupons) than she is.

I think you would have to have the reservations separated to make sure she gets the upgrade. I think either one can use the $99 fare, and get upgraded (although it says otherwise, I don't think anyone has been turned down for it lately). Then show up at the airport early and request a Plat companion upgrade.
