Booking NW Code Share on co.com?

By looking at the CO schedule, I've seen NW flights with CO code share flight numbers that I would like to book on continental.com. However, co.com only lists CO flights and none of the NW code shares. Is there a way to do this so I can get the 1000 mile co.com bonus AND the 100% EWM for L & V fares by using co.com?

1. Book something and put it on hold

2. Call CO Electronic Support (800-300-1547, option 3) and tell them you're having trouble with the site offering you the flights you want.

3. They will put in the flights you want.

4. Ask them to continue to hold it til tomorrow. Thank them, and hang up.

5. Go back to the reservation and issue the ticket.

btw, NW-operated segments will NOT get the 100% EQM, but CO ones will. Also, you only get the online booking bonus if you have at least one CO operated flight in your res.

Thanks for your help. However, I guess that I was wrong in thinking that if it had a CO flight number on NW metal, I got 100% EQM. I went back and rerad the fine print and see it has to be a CO "operated" flight.

I just had this problem. I just bought a DCA-MSP-ORD-MSP-DCA flight on Travelocity. All segments obviously operated by NW, but it's a CO ticket and all segments are CO-designated.

I credit to NW so I don't care about the online bonus, and I'll get 100% EQMs and almost-guaranteed upgrades since it's NW-op (showing off!) but I would have liked the 24 hour hold.

Yet even when I tried to force it by booking it as multiple segments, it gave me only CO-operated flights (DCA-CLE-MSP) etc... When I requested nonstop only, it told me CO doesn't offer service.

So I bought on NW. Any way around this?
