OK, now this is worrisome. Called Reservations last night to confirm the 0% EQMs shown for some A fares I am shopping and the agent had no idea. Redirected me to web support, who I expected to tell me it was a glitch and they would fix it. Imagine my surprise when the agent told me that the 0% was correct because they were trying to direct people away from certain routes.

That makes NO sense. Try calling again and getting an agent who can give you an accurate answer.

I paid for a First (A) fare. It just posted to my account as ZH, as if it were an upgraded economy seat, at 100% EQM / 1 EQP.
(It was not a B-up. I actually paid for First.) I also bought a First (A) fare that was on United metal. This posted properly (150% EQM / 1.5 EQP). It looks like this is the same problem. |

I hate to break the bad news, but so far I did not get the 50% bonus in EQM's. I have sent an email to onepass to ask why. I have several flights that show A Fare class and ZH on my account.
I will respond back when I hear, but if anyone has any information that would be great. |
CAL is having problems. I waited on hold for 15 minutes yesterday. I am flying the same route, buying the same ticket, paying the same price and yet I am now not getting my extra 50% since they say it is an up fare. I got an "A" fare posted on one leg of the same flight and they gave me the 150% EQMs. I told the person that this was the same ticket and if they look at my receipt, in their system, it is booked in Fare Class "A". I was told there is no Fare class "A" and they have a problem and are working on it. The agent could not tell me which way it would go.
However if you go to their site, you find this, and I picked IAH-SEA for miles: Mileage Calculator Results From: Houston, TX (IAH - Intercontinental) To: Seattle, WA (SEA) Trip Type: Round Trip Fare Class: First Class / International Business Class / BusinessFirst (F, J, C, A, or D) OnePass Elite Level: Platinum/Presidential Platinum Elite Routing Option 1 Nonstop MILEAGE REDEEMABLE FOR REWARD TRAVEL ELITE QUALIFICATION Details Miles Bonus Total Miles Points Houston, TX (IAH - Intercontinental) to Seattle, WA (SEA) 1,874 468 4,216 2,811 1.5 Platinum/Presidential Platinum Elite Bonus 1,874 Seattle, WA (SEA) to Houston, TX (IAH - Intercontinental) 1,874 468 4,216 2,811 1.5 Platinum/Presidential Platinum Elite Bonus 1,874 Totals: 8,432 5,622 3 Please note the "A" fare class. Please note it give you the 150% EQMs. I hope CAL is smart enough to credit all of us with "A" Fare Classes what they have on their own website. |
CO has updated my mileage account to show the 50% EQM bonus for the First Class flight I took October 10th.
I don't know if this is a general fix or a response to my online request (which they never responded to, except for the autoresponder email) |

Bought 1 st class "A" fare on CO, got ZERO miles
I just flew CO from Houston to Charlotte on Tuesday, and USAir gave zero credits for the flight with the text (ineligble class of service) this was an 'A' class ticket (first class for about $1000)... Cheated again by an incomprehensible system intended to defraud customers....

My understanding is that they know there are a bunch which were not properly credited and they're working on getting that fixed systematically.
Looked today, bonus on my flight last week is gone as is my platinum status. Though I now have one regional upgrade in my account, is that a platinum thing? I never got a response to my email to customer service a month ago about my missing 50% EQMs, even though my account eventually was credited with them. |

I don't know if this is a general fix or a response to my online request (which they never responded to, except for the autoresponder email) I hadn't gotten around to contacting CO (because I was waiting until I was sure whether it would actually affect my level) so it seems to be automatic. |

I agree; it makes no sense at all. I have sent an email to Customer Care to see what they have to say.
I did hear back from Customer Care, who said the website agent was totally wrong and that they had fixed the problem with the EQM bonus on the flights through IAH and EWR. I double-checked the flights that I had been having problems with and, sure enough, they all now show the EQM bonus for the A fares. |
Not fixed for me.
Flew EWR-SFO 11/3. Posted as a ZH/ZH fare. 2565 miles / 1 point with no bonus. This was a paid first class "A" fare which when purchasing stated 150%. Sent customer care an email a week ago and only received the autoresponder. Ill give it a few more days and then call. |
