Our flight was two weeks ago, full flight EWR-AMS. We switched from row 7 to row 21, the exit row with the recline, seat D/E. The seat bottom was uncomfortable, needed a couple of blankets to get some sort of support. Service was great, but single aisle transatlantic is not for us anymore. Female seat mate in the window seat was really annoying, that's something we could have avoided in row 7. One of those people, who tries 100 different positions to sleep including "the famous tray down, arms and head on it, but still doesn't work" type, who then out of frustration needed to use the restroom every 20 minutes, which kept us awake:mad:
We did switch because of the toilet proximity fear, but in the end row 7, looking at it from afar doesn't seem to be too bad as far as the toilet situation is concerned, minimal traffic, 3-5 users per hour with the exception of past mealtime when larger groups congregated in that area and of course as always the gym type who needs to stretch and exercise in that area... BF was nearly empty, only three guests. Wish we could have been there. |
