They are full because the fares are affordable for certain business customers - if you work at a company with a corporate discount, you can do the nonstops for about 2000-2500 each way (a couple companies get lower rates, but the tickets have some restrictions). If you're Joe-off-the-street, your price is about double that for the same seat.
The question is - how many Joe-off-the-streets were on your flight? |
Let us all know how it goes as Im going JFK-LAX on UA in PS FC, then LAX-SIN in J on UA but id much rather be on CO, i find the service far better!

Perhaps you mean, you will let us know how it goes? |

I work for one of the worlds largest telecom companies and SQ is one of our perferred airlines. For that I paid $7,500 LAX-SIN-EWR and my flight in April I paid $7,000 for EWR-SIN-EWR. Of course I could get the ticket alittle cheaper but I leave on premium days. I would love to see PE on this route but I don't see is as from what I have seen SQ is doing fine with all C.
I have a TA friend who has been working his network to try and get access to some of these special EWR/LAX-SIN fares, but so far he's been shut out. |
