For people want to attack me to enjoy your day, I won't reply in this thread anymore.
But, I do update my first post about galley and "veal".
If you want to read, it's at the end of my first post.
If you want to give me more opinion about "veal", please let me know that you
are either a chef who knows veal well or your job relates to meat(veal) product and not only just a frequent flyer.
If you have other opinion about my personality, be my guest. It's your choice.

Give. Me. A. Break. If removing the cheesecloth from a lime and quartering it is considered above the call then the common denominator for expected service is getting pretty low. I don't know what's worse, a flight attendant who either flat out lied or couldn't be bothered to check, or those on this thread making excuses for sloppy work. I have learned over the years that professionalism can't not be turned on or off at will. People are either professional in their actions, or not. When a person can't be bothered with the simple things, odds are they are not going to do so well with those that are important.

Every time I see the title of this thread, I think of Shaq saying: "Kobe, tell me how my *** taste..."

Update -1:
after I sent the letter to find out what I had eaten.
The first letter from We don't care 2 says:

"Mr. pigx5, I sincerely apologize that you were not satisfied with the quality of the meal amenity we provided on our flight 444. Our goal is to provide a healthy, tasteful meal, and I truly regret we did not meet this expectation. I have contacted the Chelsea Catering Services that provides our meal service regarding your concerns. Chelsea Catering observes all federally defined regulations for public health and safety. The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service insure that all public health agency regulations and policies are followed with frequently conducted inspections, of which Chelsea Catering is in full compliance. "

Update -2:
My question was that what had I eaten and they didn't answer.
I sent the mail again.
Here I got the response:

"I have verified with Food Services that on your flight was loaded the following meat item. A combination of a beef medallion and a pork medallion which is commonly called a “mixed grill” Also a grilled Robalo, a local fish.

Mr. pigx5, while we appreciate your concerns, we feel that we have addressed the matter and will not responding to any further correspondence on this issue."

-----

It's not about beef or pork and It's about attitude and lying.
They don't tell you how will they prevent this happen again but they tell they will not responding to any further
correspondence on this issue.
Maybe they should serve this to Muslims and still insist that it were veal or something healthy, tasteful and meet the USDA requirement.

I honestly wish my life was so void of true issues and meaning, that something like this would become my cause celebre.

I've read the whole thing, and I still fail to grasp the drama.

Note to self: I must spend more time on the CO forum. I haven't laughed so hard since the unmitigated flatulence string came out.

im sure it would be even more hilarious if you were Jewish or Muslim and ate the pork

I can see how running out of lemons for your drink may seem like a disaster
but running out of fuel would have been far worse, just trying to keep things in perspective:D

You're in the wrong place if expecting people to keep things in perspective.

Missy give me three pints daily - but on Thursdays I get none. What will I do? Then I will cry. Then my wife and children will make a bonfire of me and throw me in the sea. What will be the end of me?

Here's the deal - you've been trained by the UA forum to be nit-picky and reactionary toward the airlines and their employees. We generally don't act that way over here on the CO forum. We complain when it's neccessary, but we certainly aren't seeking compensation, never threatening/antagonistic/aggressive toward FAs or anyone from the company in any manner, and most assuredly doing our best not to make ourselves out to look like malcontents.

If you want to enjoy your time in our sandbox, you gotta learn to adapt. We don't just let CO take advantage of us but we don't make mountains out of molehills either.

If you want to say a FA treated you poorly or didn't note your requests properly, fine, but don't be questioning "mystery meat" (you were told it was veal and a simple Google image search for veal entrees shows it is indeed veal) as that comes off as petty.

And stay out of the galley.

I know this has been done before but, here goes  with a :td: thrown in.

Ridiculous!

I just stumbled on this thread and am at a loss for words... wow... and with pictures and everything. Wow.

It did kinda remind me of flying in West Africa on local airlines when if you got a meal at all they'd offer you 'fish or meat, fish or meat'. When you'd ask them exactly what they meant by 'meat' they'd look at you as though you were kinda stupid and explain, 'it is meat'.

I guess if you are hungry enough to eat airplane food on a West African regional carrier then the actual origin of the meat is probably a secondary consideration.

PS OP, edit your post to mention something about the passenger in front of you having their seat reclined during your meal service and you'll get more traction and sympathy.
