Arrow New York City Lunch on January 17 (Saturday) at 1PM!

I'll be in New York this weekend (what was I thinking, it'll be friggin cold there!) and would love to have lunch with some FlyerTalkers this Saturday. I'm flexible as far as location goes, but would prefer it to be at or after 1PM. Stevenshev will be joining me, and since he's so boring I was hoping we'd have some more company (). I'll be flying Continental into EWR on Saturday morning (my upgrade already cleared to BusinessFirst), so you can hear about how my first revenue non-UA flight in ages is worse than Ted.

Anyone else in?

Lucky... are you in NYC overnight or on a long layover???

What would be in the mood for? Special Soup DO at La Bonne Soupe on west 55th Street?

There are also some great restaurants by EWR in Newark's Ironbound section. Many of the restaurants specialize in Spanish-Portuguese cuisine.

PM me or call if you have any ideas. My schedule is pretty flexible and it would be nice to catch up with you.

I should be free for my last US DO... let us know what you're in the mood for...

There are a ton of options, and yes its freaking freezing here... there's a 2 inch layer of snow with a half inch layer of ice over it, so the whole NYC metro area looks like its covered in plastic... slippery white plastic... its crazy!

Believe it or not NYC is my destination for once. It's not a ton of miles, but I have my reasons.

I'm up for whatever. Your recommendations are always fantastic, so we really can't go wrong.

No bonne soup - we require a slightly more classy atmosphere for Ben's hallowed presence.

I'm sort of in hibernation until Spring but wouldn't pass up lunch with Lucky (and other FTers, of course). See you all Saturday for my first Soup Do.

Arriving Friday Aternoon / Evening and leaving Sunday around noon, I try to join you for lunch.

Hey Lucky, sorry to be missing you on this trip to MY city. I have two commitments out on Long Island where I live and would never be able to make it back in time. If you will be around on Monday PM me...
