SJU DINNER on 5/20
 

Hey Guys,

Thanks to an excellent fare to SJU from SFO right now, a few crazy UA MR's are planning a quick mileage run on United to San Juan, PR.

So since the fare might be right for other people I thought that maybe if you are in the area on 5/20 we could have dinner together? I know nothing about SJU and would leave the planning to those in the know.

Right now I know of one other Ft'er who would join us for Dinner on 5/20.

Also, if you know of wonderful places to have dinner please make some suggestions. I would be more inclined to the $ establishments then the $$$.

But what date will you be in SJU, if it is the same time as us it would seem we could be on the same flight from IAD. Well as long as you aren't going from ORD or are on US.

As with Halo, we will have time to say hi and see him off.

I can't seem to access my itineraries on UAL at the moment, but I believe that is correct. Out on the 20th, return on the 21st.

Anyone going on that run the april 14-15? I'm doing the sfo-lax-iad-sju-iad-lax-sfo those dates with the 38 minute turn.

I am doing SEA-LAX-IAD-SJU-IAD-SFO-SEA with the 38 min turn on 4/21-4/22.

We're a week out. Just thought I'd *bump* to confirm.

Oh well. I have already done 6 or 7 MR's on UA/AA to SJU in the past month or so. Like last week I will actually spend the weekend on SJU but won't be around on 20th.

I leave for LAX in a couple hours... I'm just wondering if there were any concrete plans yet? I just discovered that I had maps of Puerto Rico in my Garmin Mapping CD, so I was able to download them to my GPS for the trip! WooHoo! I thought I was going to have to rent a GPS with the car.

All I need is an address I guess, and the time? I'll be checking into the Caribe Hilton tomorrow...

No one responded to my above post last week, so I didn't make any plans for the dinner meet.

I suspect that we're all travelling, but I'll be in SJU tomorrow am. Likely staying at the Water Club is Isla Verde.
