What a shame...
Alas with traffic on the 101 horrible at all times(building an HOV lane, really stupid timing) I would stay in Old Towne. I'm sure there is some good mexican food in Old Towne if that is what everyone wants

Try Los Olivos on 2nd st just east of Scottsdale Rd. Very yummy.

After lunch head over to another not to miss spot, the Rusty Spur Saloon.
No credit cards, cash only. Great afternoon spot to have a cold one.

7245 E Main St. Just north 2? blocks from Los Olivos.

Thanks kellio!!!

I'll wait until Sunday night for other restaurant options and then I'll either put up for a vote or maybe be an enlightened despot and make an executive decision.

Just to narrow the options a bit, I think since there will be a critical mass of FTers in Old Town Scottsdale arriving late morning lets focus our efforts on

* Old Town Scottsdale
*115p
* relatively broad menu options to please even the fussiest of us
(not me!!).

Count me in for a strong maybe. I am scheduled 2B in Phoenix Oct. 31 for Alice Cooper at the Arizona State Fair & can extend my stay to leave Nov. 3 instead of Nov. 1 !
