I'll be arriving at 11:35 a.m. on AA on Friday 2 November so anyone who wants to pick me up at the airport to take me to/for lunch is invited to do so and it will be greatly appreciated.

And I'm rooming with BAMAT. (But she doesn't know that yet...)

Hi jan-

I'd really rather pick the place, but because my tastes lean on the exotic side (think Indian, Ethiopian, Thai), I figured I'd defer to those a bit less daring.

For me, I'd just be grateful if there are fresh seafood (not shellfish!) and veggie options.

I don't see this as a big organizing feat per se
1. pick a place
2. pick a time
3. start an RSVP cut-off; say 48 hrs. prior to lunch
4. meet at lunch Nov 2!!!!

I knew of a great little restaurant in a strip mall on North Hayden Road near the East Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard exit off of Arizona State Highway 101 in Scottsdale where I had some delicious fresh tuna tacos with wasabi, but it has since closed.

What a shame...
