Received the second one today. Thanks to my SS...no return address is making tracking you down a little more difficult!

I was a little naughty and opened them  since I will not be home on Christmas. They are wonderful and each and every one of them will be used. Merry Christmas!

That's exactly what it is.... I have not started using it yet. I couldn't wait until Christmas to open it, but it's under the tree with the other [opened] SS gifts...

Big thanks to my SS in San Diego! Got in to the office a little late and there were a bunch of boxes outside my door of supplies I had ordered, then I saw the box from SS hidden in the middle of them :)

I'm looking forward to trying to wines over the holidays and will be sure to let you know our thoughts on them. I have some ideas for cheeses that I'd like to pick up to try and pair with the chardonnay in particular. Based on your notes I may keep the pinot in storage for a bit. Thanks again! :)

I have received all three. I opened the first and am saving the two others until christmas morning. The first was from a great SS, who even wrote me a letter. Great gifts from Santa based in Elk Grove, CA. Christmas crackers and christma s mugs, from the Smithsonian, made in England. Thanks, SS ^

Thank you Secret Santa. The box of Currant scented candles arrived safe and sound. I love the scent.

How did you know I was running out and needed to restock ?

Well, having just met you a few weeks ago purely by chance, I can say you are certainly a star who deserves the world.... :)

Sounds like your Santa knows you well!!!!

I wanted to thank both my FT Secret Santas who both sent very nice gifts.

From the first Secret Santa, I got a very nifty handle extender for my roller, but because I'm blond I'm still figuring out how to use it. Also in the same package was a fascinating luggage scale where you strap your luggage and then lift it, and the display tells you how much it weighs. Ingenious! I've used it already...

And from the second Secret Santa, the Godiva ballotin was a very nice touch as well. It's already gone - that's what happens when the family gets involved in consumption of said chocolates :)

Yay!

I left for work this morning, resigned to the idea that I wouldn't see any of my SS gifts til after xmas when I got back from my trip to RDU

However DL and the weather in SLC conspired to keep me from boarding my flight this this afternoon. So I came home.

What would have been a depressing walk in the front door, was interrupted by two packages from my UK based SS.

I spent the next few minutes excitedly opening the very-well-taped packages with a big smile on my face.

Scottish cookbooks - which I plan to peruse when on my rescheduled for tomorrow flights. I may even randomly yell out "If its not Scottish...its Crrrrrrrrrap!" just for giggles.

Dark chocolate - hellooooooo, come to mama!

Candy, a CD, and the cutest little bagpipe holding stuffed bear you ever did see!

Thanks Santa!!!

Thank you wharvey!

Thanks so very much for all the organizing. It was my first year doing SS and what fun indeed. Just wanted to say how appreciative I am of your hard work and to all the great FTers here and my very own SS as well. Have a great holiday everyone :D
