24, considering to be advanced (but have been wrong before ;) )
Cheers, |
38, beginner. When I think of all the miles I didn't collect or let expire, agh!

23 (actually 5 3/4 if you want to get technical ;))
Advanced (IMO). I know the basics, I can handle most situations, I just do not have the miles nor the understanding of certain areas to consider myself an expert. Traveling when you are young to far off countries by yourself definitely helps. |
34, and like so many people before me, intermediate/advanced
|
23 here.
I'd consider myself intermediate. Still haven't taken advantage of any mistake fares, although I've directed a few people in the direction of the transatlantic AA F mistake when that came about.

17 and I dunno what skill level. It's all relative, isn't it?

As of last Friday, I'm 45. I consider myself an expert on United (though I still make the occational mistake), and intermediate-advanced on other travel issues.

36 and advanced - was advised to post on this thread due to complaining of unrewound tapes in AA F :(
|
35 and intermediate.
Thanks for the reference to the unwound tapes in AA F -- I was paging through this post wondering how I ended up here and your comment reminded me I was reading another thread at one point -- which I'm now going back to :) |

What's the point of this thread?
The "older" people aren't going to reveal their ages. The "dumber" people aren't going to admit to being "dummies." I think the results of this informal poll will be basically meaningless. @:-) Geez, I've been looking for a girl like you. Cheerful, great disposition, happy smile. I'm a 63 year old novice, grateful to the credit card expert and others that have made my travel much more fun. |

hahahah that alone makes you an expert!
Well today I have helped a friend book an airline ticket from Washington DC to Ulsan, South Korea, somewhere I've never been to :D I've got her signed up for NW Worldperks and the corresponding Visa card and I've booked myself a couple of tickets too. People seem to want to come to me for FFP advice now  |
34 and advanced, with special areas of expertise in AA and SPG. Have lots of stories to share when we finally get around to doing a Boston Do.
