Is there statistics on the distribution of posts by members?
Like, how many members with posts as logarithm >1,10,100,1000,10000,100000 or something?

I thought I'd make my 50,000th post in this thread. Took me from May, 2000 to hit 50,000; from July 4 2006 to go from "Evangelist" to 50,000.

In that time, I've made good friends (and sadly lost a few), have attempted to serve my community as a moderator (which I also did on GEnie and CompuServe), consolidated most of my flying to one airline / alliance, vastly improved my travel comfort and knowledge (learning from some, sharing with others).

I've earned nearly 6 million miles on American Airlines- and enabled others' travel including upper class travel for friends and family on honeymoon, anniversary and special occasion trips, etc. and a few going to volunteer (e.g. Kiva in Cambodia, barrio construction assistance in Perú, etc.)

I've earned more than that in points with Hilton HHonors, which again has allowed me to make gifts to friends and family for special occasions (as well as saving me thousands of dollars).

Thank you, Flyertalk and fellow members. And wishes everyone's 2026 will be joyous, healthy, rewarding - and full of safe, trouble free travels with plentiful upgrades.

We are blessed to have you on FlyerTalk, jdiver. You enrich us with your knowledge and community service. I hope you are here for many years to come. Have wonderful travels wherever they take you in 2016.

I could not resist the opportunity to wish you eleven more years of safe, trouble free travels with plentiful upgrades, JDiver. FlyerTalk just would not be the same without you — although I do wonder what it would be like in 2026.

Do not correct what you posted. Leave it as is, as it is classic JDiver content...

...and I count you as one of my friends, to whom I hope that the next eleven years are joyous, healthy, rewarding and successful for you and your loved ones.

Thank you; you are a good friend, and someone for whom I have consulate respect - and whose humor I value too, so I won't edit the slip of fingertips my iPad is so good at (in addition to sometimes truly astounding autocorrections). :)

I also consider Canarsie to be a good friend and, like you, I do not actually offer him my respect but instead allow him to apply for it through my consulate in Atlanta.

Congrats on joining the legendary elites of FT!

My iPad sometimes does amazing things. Let's see if it can keep me alive through 2026.

I wish you the best of luck, my right hand fingers hit the 9 and 0 with a mind of their own also.

Congrats JDiver.

The FT community is exceptionally fortunate to have your countless contributions. All the best for 2026, 2016 and all the years in between,

So GUWonder is not far from 80,000 posts - when do you think s/he will get 80k? And what title does 80k get?

There's no different title other than legend for posts beyond 40K.
