In small part to OpenSkies, but mostly because he's an all around great guy who posts & shares (a lot :D) with a worldwide group of FT friends.

Congratulations szg Bravo! Well Deserved!

Congratulations! You are now 40K post club. Keep it up the good work. We are appreciate for your contribution on aviation-related forum.

Jenbel Dec 16, 2012 5:21 pm

And another one joins the club. It's actually not something that I'm as proud of as I was when I made 10k I certainly have no desire to rush onto the BA board this time around and share the moment, the BA board is no longer the kind of place to welcome such a thing :( Perhaps because I know too many of my posts were made talking nonsense in OMNI so I think it is unearned - something unfortunately our dearly beloved TB took from me that I'll never recapture.

And, since I'm bolded, I don't even get the title either. All I get is the nice round number - and I even missed that.

Nevertheless, thanks to those that make me think, make me learn and make me laugh. You've helped me while away many a slow, boring day, and although my connection with FT waxes and wanes, there is still all too often something to capture my attention.

It's us who should be thanking you for your participation on FT, Jenbel.

I thought I had a shot at beating you to 40K but will have to settle for getting one post closer by extending my congratulations and best wishes on reaching the FT milestone. :)

Jenbel Dec 17, 2012 6:59 am

More time in OMNI :o ;)

No way, Jose! You can't have it! Sorry! Just kidding. :D

Please don't spent too much time on FT. Why you don't take a nice time off from the forum. You need a break.

Congratulations for your 40K post club. We are appreciate for your contribution on aviation-related forum.

Let's keep it up the good work.

It's been quite a journey to 40K but I've very much enjoyed it! No real pearls of wisdom but rather thanks for all the great interactions in person or online that I've made in the past 12 years and 40K posts.

Now on to the next 40K. :)

Gaucho100K Mar 4, 2014 8:56 am

Congratulations !!!

mahasamatman Mar 4, 2014 11:23 am

Nice job, tcook052! Though your title is "FlyerTalk Legend", and not "A FlyerTalk Posting Legend". I wonder if that's because of all your other titles?

chchkiwi Mar 4, 2014 6:27 pm

Congratulations tcook052!

Kiwi Flyer Mar 5, 2014 2:16 am

Thanks for all your help and contributions tcook052

Anyone want to predict the date? At 15/da., how about, oh, April 18?

Thanks all. A manual correction has been made it seems. ;) All is good.

Looks as though mahasamatman and SkiAdcock are approaching AFTPL status.

A large proportion of English speakers hear frock and a girl's dress comes to mind. Another large proportion of English speakers hear frock and a male monk's attire comes to mind.

Frocks may be worn by some monks inside or even outside monasteries, while some nuns may wear frocks even when outside the convent.

Some have X -- not F or M -- as a sex designator on some passports.

Now who wants to see whom defrocked? :D

I don't know. If I had to count backwards using only the posts that are generally visible to non-logged-in lurkers, it seems to be closer to the 11th or 12th of April.

CPRich Apr 21, 2014 7:55 am

I'd be curious as to how many non-OMNI* posts are included in these counts.

JDiver Apr 24, 2014 1:44 pm

Congratulations to tcook52 and all!

I'm sure mahasamatman and Ski Adcock will pass me and hit 40k before I do. This next ~month, little to no Internet due to travel and Inmarsat high prices and low performance. OTOH, celebrating our 48th anniversary and my seventieth birthday, "priceless". ;)

OTOH, nobody, but nobody, has the inside lane on GUWonder.

Now that I have a job again, I've slowed down quite a bit as well.
