Generous offer BEYFlyer. :)
As mentioned in post #3, I have an Ent book that has a $40, 2 for 1 voucher for Café Sydney that I'll be pleased to bring along of course. http://www.entertainmentbook.com.au/...ok/sydney_0607 If another couple of those can be rounded up, you will save some serious bucks at that place. |

BEYFlyer has a very extraordinary taste for his future partner.
The question is: how many available sexy, marriable Druze women are in Sydney? :D

Oz men, once the ladies take a look at his picture, they will be showing up [I]en masse. |

Glen The Lugano Meet is another story altogether. I have very generously decided to buy dinner for one of the attendees -- my UIG (Used Italian Girlfriend). |

That leaves only one other country in which they can be found in any sizable number: Israel. This goes a long way towards explaining why he is so anxious for our two countries to make peace with each other. :) |

BEYFlyer, a visitor to Sydney today remarked that he enjoyed walking across the Sydney Harbour Bridge (aka the Coathanger).
In a poor attempt at humour, I can recommend OzStamps taking you on a walk across the bridge, while he is wearing his full length 'traditional' (?) robes! I only mention this because today's SYD visitor remembers a tabloid-news story where a 'journo' taking photos while on the bridge in 'American tourist' dress was unnoticed by bridge security for ages. When he came back in a full length 'Arabic' robe to take photos, security was onto him within minutes. After lots of drinks, this could happen next Thursday, if OzStamps can be persuaded to bring the costume :D |
C'mon, men wearing dresses at night in Sydney is hardly worthy of comment, especially along Oxford Street. ;)
However if I walked around wearing Dovster's kind gift from the Middle East there might be a somewhat different reaction walking across the coat-hanger. ;) Sad but true ...... I am sure there would be questions and delays. |

The plan right now is to head over to Cafe Sydney around 6:45 p.m. for drinks. Then, keeping with Middle Eastern traditions, I would like to invite you to dinner at CS around 7:30/7:45 p.m. You are more than welcome to join us for drinks and/or dinner; up to you really just let me know so I can give them a solid number. I just sent in a reservation request for a table (8 people given the response so far) but given the time difference, I doubt I'll hear anything today. As soon as I get a confirmation for them, I'll let you know. I'm heading to Singapore tonight (in about 11 hours, 11 minutes :D ). Looking forward to meeting up with friends there and having some time off away from "all of this". Also looking forward to meeting up with all of you on the 26th ^ ; I should be in Sydney on the evening of the 25th. Will be in touch later... Before you all ask it means....Have a pleasant flight in Arabic. Look forward to meeting Bey et al! CJ  |

Updated Dinner Time
Folks I'm sorry for the late reply but I had a delayed start to my trip out of Beirut as I got very sick just a few hours before my flight.
Anyway, I am much better now and finally made it to Singapore yesterday. Today and tomorrow, I am in Bali, before heading to Sydney on Wednesday. I got an email confirmation from the restaurant for Thursday, October 26th. They can have us seated by 8:30 p.m. as they are fully booked earlier in the evening. We have a table outside, so I guess that is a plus :) . I realize this is an hour later than scheduled, so if you can just confirm if you can make dinner, I would greatly appreciate it. This way, I can have a firm number to give to Cafe Sydney. Again, dinner is at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 26th. We can meet up at around 7:00 p.m. at Cafe Sydney and take it from there. Feel free to join for dinner and/or drinks. Hope to hear from you soon. |
