I know, and I feel bad about that. Well, no, actually I don't. ;)

But for what it's worth, one of the reasons it was requested I change my sig was the reference to gate lice, as it might not be seen in a favorable light by some, especially those not familiar with the humor (?) of FT!

Which makes it highly unlikely anything I'd "DO" would qualify. 12+ FTers who'd want to do a relatively-hard (but moderate-paced) bike ride?

Given that the discussion is more DO-related than UA-related, I'm going to go ahead and move to Community Buzz.

"Do" is UK slang for a party. It came to FT when an FTer with the handle "Catman" named his New York party "Catman Do" as a pun. Nobody has ever figured out why a few folks here spell it "doo," but they doo.

As for the topic - sounds like fun!!

...and here I thought someone told me it stood for "dining out".

I'm up for a bike ride, assuming I'm in town. :)

Ditto. Assuming that I can get myself and my bike (or a decent rental) up there for it, I'm in!

Oh, yeah. You've also got to promise to wait for me up at the top!
