I'm around 13-14 March on the NW deal. Jaimito Cartero and I talked about the possibility of dinner. I'll check on that.

I'm flying in on the 13th, so the 14th would probably be best. I'm staying at the cheap place (Aston Coral, or whatever it's named now).

Well, I'm out on Mar 13 at 615p! Maybe an HNL airport rendezvous, since your flights will likely arrive around 430p.

Ooops, my "around"=available. I actually land on the 12th, 7pm-ish. So, have all day 13th and 14th. 14th is the killer with hotel check-out probably noon and departing flight 10pm-ish. JC, want to do halfsies on a rental car?

I'm planning on going to the beach and checking out public transportation a bit.

If you guys want to stay in Waikiki, Cheeseburgers in Paradise is not a bad place, as is Duke's, where a lot of the people are meeting this weekend. If you are mobile, or willing to catch the bus, there's a lot of good places we can suggest...

FlyinHawaiian, would you recommend Rainbow Drive-In?

Depends what you are looking for. It's a place that serves "plate lunches" (two scoops of white rice, one scoop macaroni salad, and a meat entree). There are walk-up counters to order and a few benches to sit and eat at, with a view of the parking lot. The food is good and cheap (and I go there often when I am at home) but not much else. No booze there either, BTW.
