Get your sister on a plane to Oahu - at least it's been partly sunny there. My parents left last night & it seemed to be clearing. Maybe she would get some sun.

Don't you know, the sun always shines in Poipu? (Yeah, right!) Actually, there was sun yesterday. Ten day forecasts for Lihue and Honolulu show; rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain and rain. :td:

Edited to add: Just talked to my sister. They got out on the beach for THE 1/2 hour of sunshine yesterday. They've had 10 inches of rain in the last couple of days, several roads are blocked and they can't get around much. Thank goodness for cable TV. However, they've watched all the DVDs we keep in the entertainment center. :(

Was a dicey couple of days on the North Shore!!!!! But, the weather recovered, as did most of the community up there.
