Although I did find a Club fare to LCA with BA and onwards with CY or ME in economy for about GBP500. Considering economy out of LHR is about GBP380, that routing might be an option. I need to see if I can justify the expense as well as beg for time off work. If anyone has any other imaginative routings they can think of, please let me know. B ;) |

The trick for flights to BEY is to book early. The longer you wait, the more expensive tickets will get. Granted this is a universal rule, but since Beirut is not "extensively" covered (other than through London and Paris), it will get a bit more expensive. Alitalia is a good option as they have an afternoon flight to BEY as well. Good luck with your travel planning and hope to see you in Beirut soon.

Hi guys,
going a bit off-topic, does someone know the name of the border crossing on the main Beirut-Damascus highway? I need it for my Syrian visa application. Thanks, Alex |
Wish it was called something easier like "The border" or "The awesome crossing", but it is known as Massna'a and that is the main border crossing between the two countries.
