IceTrojan and beerman92, come on out! We had half a dozen San Diego FT dinners in 2005, and welcome new attendees. This one will be sweet, simple, and succinct due to chrisxb's flight schedule - but it's a very fast drive down the I5 at that time of night.

Hello, Owlchick's son posting here, attack of the appendicitis and surgery. =( She won't be able to make it. So far she's recovering nicely but she's in the hospital for a few days as she was on the verge of having lots of infection or something like that. They removed it in a timely manner but just to be safe they're going to hold on to her.

Please send her your well wishes and prayers, which ever you prefer. :) Have a great time at the dinner!

Oh, my goodness. I'm amazed that in the midst of such pain, she would think of our little group and have you get word to us.

Please pass along our very warm wishes to your mom, and our prayers for a full and complete recovery.

hiyo, Filippis was the perfect suggestion, given that we had two fellows to be delivered to the airport at different times. redbeard911 headed to the restaurant while we were at the airport. He tells me our group had to wait 20 minutes for our reserved table; needless to say, the State Senator at the adjacent table at no such wait!
