Well .... for one day only ... I am back (arrive Wednesday evening) so who is up for lunch on Thursday 1 Sept.

I should be okay although I know I've got a couple things going on at work that day but I'm in town. Will confirm after I get back to Chicago. Will be great to see Wendy again! :)

Or, we can make it breakfast at Orange on Harrison Street instead? That'd make life much easier for those who are traveling as they can linger as long as they'd like. I can make breakfast if it's at 7:30 or 8.

Whatever works for the most people if cool with me.

Edited to add: Mrs Sweet Willie and I will be @ Orange on Harrison tomorrow morning (Wed Aug 10) around 8:15am, maybe 8am if traffic is decent.

I'll be in Chicago that day. I'll be staying at the Palmer the night before, and flying out at 2:30PM on 9/1. I've got a late morning appointment with a client. If you guys are getting together for breakfast, I can probably make it. Is the proposed breakfast spot anywhere close to the Palmer House?

8am at Orange on Harrison is fine .... easy access as you can get off the Harrison Red Line stop and just walk about 1 block if my memory serves me right

Well that's just stupid. Some people have to start work at 8 or 8:30. They don't have to open at 6 like most coffee shops do, but 7 would be nice.

Me, I usually don't have to be at work until 9:30 as long as I'm willing to stay until 6, so I should be there.

Unless he stays up a couple of hours later. :)

Harrison is the first stop south of the Loop on the State Street Subway (Red Line). You could also walk it in about 10 minutes.

With SQ I didn't have to wake up before 5 for breakfast at 8 :rolleyes:

Tho I forget what the actual parking "cost" is....I do know that with a coupon from Basil Thai parking in the building is clearly the thing to do!! I am now down to "highly likely" as work has gotten in the way of my lunching... ;)
