Hmmm... Perhaps JPB needs a proper 'welcome back' to the UK, to ease him back to European weather. SQFAN, JPB, MAN Flyer, and our European SQ brethren (e.g., paffy, flamboyant 1), would you be interested in a SIN DO Lite (sort of, in terms of an evening of dinner & drinks) in London? I'm thinking of Hakkasan, with its Singaporean chef, Michelin star, and killer (mmmmmm :) ) lemongrass martinis (among other inspired creations)? All others more than welcome to join, of course. ;) We'd just need to book well in advance, given this restaurant's popularity, particularly on the weekends. (Warning: it isn't cheap, being in London.)

And I know I will visit Oxford since a distance cousin had just moved there for a year for her husband's sabbatical leave from UBC. And hope to be able to join you and jjpb3's London SIN DO in the future.

Absolutely I am flying back in style BA economy it is going to be such a nice change after having to rough it in SQ F for my last flight.

I will look forward to hosting an Oxford do when you make it over.

Whenever is fine by me - Until I get back to work in the UK and see what my boss has planned for me I have no plans for travel. So if we fix the date I can always say to my boss that I have to be in the UK then (the advantages of working for a company which is fixated by work life balance).

I was listening to the radio, and I heard that one of the regular DOers will be in London end of this month, a week before your proposed date. ;) :)

Unfortunately, 8 October won't work for me. 1 October will work better (and will suit the schedule of the mystery DOer, according to CGK's radio), but I think that's the day before flamboyant 1 leaves for Dubai.
