I propose Beng Hiang restaurant; opposite China Square; for some traditional 'Hokkien' style Chinese food.

Or the Jumbo Seafood Restaurant on the River ?

Or the Seafood buffet on the Terrace of the Fullerton Hotel ?

For which you can also get unlimited beer/soft drinks for an additional 20 SGD!

FB (and anyone else coming from HKG) - are you still planning on flying in 6 Aug on SQ861 HKG-SIN (arrives 7:40pm)? (Yes I'm still juggling my schedule.)

Nothing set in stone.
I will come from HKG. Not sure which flight though. I preferred SQ 865 and would then just come for the drinks. Reason is that my parents are on the same flight which makes hotel-airport transportation more reasonable and I will be able to help with the luggages as my mom isn't build like Shaq ;). Rather on the contrary.

Any more suggestions on where and when for dinner and drinks?

Since shortfinals has McDonalds Plat, we can eat there and 'upgrade'...er...I mean 'upsize' our meal for free. :D

I would still like to suggest Beng Hiang for dinner. I can book there and thereafter walk across the road to China Square for drinks and walk a bit more later to Lau Pa Sat for supper.

What times would work out good? Still juggling flight options.

I've got 6 MWU's (menu wide upgrades), 10 CR-1's (Cheeseburger Requests) and an unlimited amount of 500 caloriers. So yeah....it's on me.

I would suggest 7pm, but I suppose you're coming at 7:40pm on SQ861?

Or maybe 6pm at some China Square place for pre-dinner drinks like in Apr
