Yep, my parents called while I was in the cab to Union Station. Mom wasn't feeling well (still getting over a bout of the flu) so we made it a more abbreviated evening, so I got home with time to spare.


Except I did forget to call Jenbel on her way to an LHR event; she left me a sweet and slightly drunken voicemail this evening (I was at the Patio and didn't hear it) politely chasting me for never being around to answer my phone. We'll have to call her after dinner at Morton's.

I missed a lunch that Omar sprung for? Unbelievable. Next thing you know I'll be flying on TED.

Apparently you had better places to be... But it's not as if we weren't thinking of you (and don't say we weren't ;) )

Don't forget to congratulate Omar on his new job. Not the old new job, but the new new job. Yep, he's back to working in the Loop!!!! ^^^

I'll congratulate him over the lunch he better be buying me now...
