We have reservations (my last name) for tomorrow at 12:30 for 8 people in case anyone else wants to join us!

Well I'd assume that the married people are going to be honey-do-ed into doing something boring like cleaning the gutters or painting the basement. But what about the rest of you?? HOS is a spit away from the Grand/State L stop.

Otherwise I have to spend all lunch making fun of Omar. :eek:

Do we need to start naming names again??? Besides, we need some new material for the "line of the day" after today's charming quote... ;)

Good food, even better conversation. Too bad we had some empty seats (who needs YUL when you can get beads on Rush Street?). But we got more free birthday goodies for our birthday girl. :)

Note #1 to Omar: leaving your cell phone unattended is a good way to get drunken 3am phone calls.

Note #2 to Omar: 601 N. Rush is not exactly close to the corner of Division and Dearborn.

You were also a really good sport with all the grilling we gave you on the SO, and it was also really interesting to hear about the associated "info" Looking forward to having you set a date for the "Toto, we're coming to Kansas" Do later this year! :D

You're welcome for lunch! It was certainly a great time and yes Nick, I parked REALLY far away! No parking ticket though, which kept a smile on my face!

Not really, while I was putting my jacket on, I mistakingly forgot my cell phone on the table.

Yep, my parents called while I was in the cab to Union Station. Mom wasn't feeling well (still getting over a bout of the flu) so we made it a more abbreviated evening, so I got home with time to spare.


Except I did forget to call Jenbel on her way to an LHR event; she left me a sweet and slightly drunken voicemail this evening (I was at the Patio and didn't hear it) politely chasting me for never being around to answer my phone. We'll have to call her after dinner at Morton's.

I missed a lunch that Omar sprung for? Unbelievable. Next thing you know I'll be flying on TED.

Apparently you had better places to be... But it's not as if we weren't thinking of you (and don't say we weren't ;) )

Don't forget to congratulate Omar on his new job. Not the old new job, but the new new job. Yep, he's back to working in the Loop!!!! ^^^

I'll congratulate him over the lunch he better be buying me now...
