I'd love to come, but I'll be home in NYC. :p
When it comes to good Q, and eating with magic111 ... ;)

Next time you're NYC bound, can you bring me a sandwich? :D

No way one of those sandwiches could survive a tran-con unless it was in a locked box and checked. :D

Dan,

Magic has a point. :)

I am seeing a clear reason developing here to fly back and join Q lovers (the food not the continuum inhabitants) for a squaring off and judging of merits of Everett and Jones vs. Flints. Would tie in nicely with a football game I bet ;)

Salivatingly yours,

Mike

It would have to be pre-game at Flints and post-game at Everett & Jones since that is where the Recap Show broadcast originates.

Kathy,

I'm stuck in the store until 6:30-7. If I provide tupperware, will you transport BBQ???

How about if I transport it to you in a restaurant-provided doggie bag/box, and you transfer it to your stomach, fridge, or wherever?

belle3388 Mar 5, 2005 8:59 pm

Where is Aladdin when you need him?

tom911 Mar 5, 2005 10:06 pm

I'm on the fence right now. I'm on vacation all the way out to March 21, and due home this Monday (7th), but haven't decided what I'm doing next week. Might fly off somewhere on miles, might not (note: indecision here) :)

If I come,it will be last minute and I'll let you know. Isn't this right down from 12th St BART in Oakland?

Tom in Jersey City tonight

I believe this E and J is near/at Jack London Square - not really downtown -

ANd it looks like mr. squeakr will not be in town - he will be visiting his dad. I on the other hand must be in SF to teach on Sunday so I am a prpbable - IF

Kathy Wdrf would consider giving me a ride if she decides to attend?

Yes, according to MapQuest, it's near Jack London Square.

I will be happy to transport squeakr and whoever else may need a ride from SF. :) Especially if you can tell me where to park in Oakland. ;)

I always managed to find free street parking near Jack London Square on the weekends, whether it's going to Yoshi's for jazz and sushi, Barnes & Noble for book browsing, or the cinemas for a movie. Perhaps it's pure good luck. Get on 2nd Street - I often can find some spots near Bed Bath & Beyond (590 2nd near Clay). If you can't find any, there's always the pay (multi-storey) parking lot across from the cinemas.

Remotely yours,
Yoosh

Flint's...mmmmmmmmmmm. Too bad I'll be in Zurich that weekend. I'll have a brat and think about E&J's.
