My winner is six - LastClass - with US, France, UK, Netherlands, Spain, and Denmark

Spiff JUST missed the chance to tie him when he "stood us up" last month in Europe - I guess same city and missed phone calls don't count so he gets five and ties with several other FTers - BingoSF, CaptBob, AAdvantageGuy, I012609, JSD, DFWTripGuy, and PETEFLYS - and I'm sure if I think hard enough, I'll realize I'm missing another name or two.

Family doesn't count...

But, I’m thinking that Cousin Craig6z has the FT edge (15, including the U.S., and not counting transit only): India, Nepal, Thailand, England, Turkey, Kenya, Belgium, USA, Belize, Mexico, Italy (2x), Russia, Estonia, Finland, and Canada. Craig will correct me if I've missed any.

It’s a little worrying that Craig’s country number ties travel with my wife: (15: Canada, U.S., Mexico, China, Scotland, England (5x), Italy (2x), Yugoslavia, Netherlands, France, Ireland, China, pre-transfer Hong Kong, Australia, and Costa Rica)...

Family doesn't count since you've known them even before FlyerTalk. So, does that make me no. 1 on your list? :D

Oh, how I wish I could. While yall are having fun in China, I'll be in Switzerland cheering my favorite hockey team (Hockey Club Davos) on their last 2 games. We'll just have to catch up in SIN!

That is exactly what I was thinking, AusTXHiker, you can only count family that you actually acquired through FlyerTalk, either by adoption, marriage or birth. :D

I was also thinking that I must have been in at least five countries with belle--Germany, France, HongKong, USA and Italy. Maybe more. Sometimes I think she is there and then she gests lost. ;)

Oops!

Actually I counted incorrectly... BingoSF and I have also been to Macau and Malaysia together... which gives her seven (also including US, France, Japan, Hong Kong,, and Singapore).

…..me calling my attorneys, Katchum, Cheetum and Howe. Y’all be on the lookout for process servers bearing gifts of injunctions, class actions and deposition subpoenas.

And Punki (aka def #1) what was that grand prize again, Howe, esq. works on a contingency—remind you of your lawyering days?

Finally, airoli, extrapolating from some comments made by an unnamed (because of his esteemed position in the medical community) Cleveland-based FTer whom Mark and I visited, the mistake on the lake is like a third world country, and therefore I claim Cleveland, so SIN will only tie us on ex-Tex's all time list.

That pretty much ties up all the loose ends for this a.m.

airoli: USA, Canada, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, and the UK

Jailer: USA, Aruba, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela

Despite Jailer's protests, airoli has now officially edged Jailer 10-8 in the "countries traveled together" count. I'm adding Singapore (January 2005) and Liechtenstein (February 2005) to airoli's list.
