G2. What did your post mean?

loco miler Mar 1, 2004 3:17 pm

yup. Signed up last Nov/Dec '03.

gleff Mar 1, 2004 5:59 pm

Yes, and Orkut.

Foady Mar 1, 2004 6:50 pm

Definitely!

bhatnasx Mar 1, 2004 7:03 pm

i'm my username @yahoo.com & G2's on!

G2 Mar 2, 2004 8:23 am

My post above was supposed to contain a message - who wants to join? Bhatnasx is there IN A COW SUIT. I don't have a photo up yet. My email on friendster is the same as my FT email so anyone on Freindster who is an FT'er is welcome to send me a 'friend' email. So far, Bhatnasx is my only friend but just through Bhatnasx I am connected to over 37,000 people. He gets around.

G2 Mar 2, 2004 8:32 am

Locomiler, your FT email is not on friendster.

Foady and Gleff, I friendster-mailed you.

Fraser Mar 2, 2004 9:26 am

bhatnasx, I've Friendster mailed you. Hopefully there should be someone I like amongst the 37,000 people!

In my defense, it was Halloween at the office & I won 2 prizes - Best Costume & Guy Who Left the Most Pride at the Front Door Before Coming to Work.

G2 Mar 2, 2004 10:11 am

There is nothing wrong with wearing a cow suit so long as you paid for it with an affinity card and got some miles.

G2 Mar 2, 2004 10:28 am

Another FTer is on - DLNewbie joined at my invitation and put me down as his friend. Now I am connected to over 122,000 people. I feel so popular I might run for homecoming queen just to see if I can beat Marcia Brady.

dlnewbie Mar 2, 2004 10:37 am

I joined with the email in my profile if anyone else is a member

Is that why I haven't heard from you ever since?! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/mad.gif

bhatnasx Mar 2, 2004 8:30 pm

Fraser - I checked out your page - Interesting thing - I recently graduated from JMU where your friend Kristin's going - I went to school there & graduated in 2001 - I was actually down there a few weeks ago visiting a friend in Harrisonburg.

It's a small world...

Not only do I know the ins & outs, I was quite good at it - did you guys ever play flipcup? You didn't actually fly into SHD did you? There's a pretty cool airfield with nothing but World War II era turbo-props near the Bridgewater golf course. Next time your visiting the DC or JMU area, drop me a note. I'll be down in Harrisonburg in a few weeks probably.

Foady Mar 3, 2004 7:46 am

Accepted.

I did play flipcup but was inebriated at the time so can't remember much about it. Kirstin and her roomies are pretty good at beer pong, they organise loads of tournaments and beer pong Olympics and such.

Coming from the UK I flew into IAD and took the trip down I-81, saw SHD signposted the following day on the way down to Williamsburg though

Not quite sure when my next trip to the Burg will be, probably after Kirstins graduation though http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif but I'll let you know

Cheers,
Fraser

it can be anything you want it (or not want it) to be - my roommate joined & hated it - i joined back in december & don't use it too much - it's an interesting way to kill time between work & flyertalk though http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Foady Mar 4, 2004 9:08 pm

Got you too!

Friendster is like classmates.com for free, but you're not just limited to people you went to school with!
I use friendster to keep in touch with people whom I lost contact with -- some childhood friends from my days in MNL, BKK, SIN, YUL (where I spent my childhood)... so you get the idea.
Anyway, add me up if you have a friendster account: peng19 at yahoo

You can say that again- I have 15 connections to him (all at the max. degrees of separation) even though I don't have any flyertalkers listed among my friends.
