I'm sure everyone will be waiting for the tally to reach 2,999,990 or so, and then furiously post away all sort of meaningful information. So I predict that the count will go quickly past the 3 millionth post. We're averaging 3,000 posts a day, but I predict that the day when the 3 million mark is reached, we'll at least to 5,000.
Actually, we are now (and July 10, midnight GMT I think) at 2,993,916. So it will be tomorrow or the day after... |

I don't know why there is a discrepancy with the total number of post on the first page... But the URL method will make the winner of the 3,000,000 post readily apparent. But perhaps I am totally wrong and the post # is just a reference ? |
