Congatulations boilermaker ^ on 5000 posts

I finally made it officially as well. I got there last October, but then roughly 1000 posts in OMNI and a few other posts did not count anymore or were deleted repectively.

Anyway, I am now a proud member of the 5000 post club. :)

I have just crossed the 5000 post barrier as well. Glad that I finally made it as well after almost 3 years on FT.

This sounds like a fun club. I would like to join, but the qualifications aren't clear. Maybe we need a sticky. Do they ever comp anyone who is just short? If not, should I hang up and try again? I think I know someone who knows someone whose cousin got in this way.

The curious mind wants to know the average years those FTers who made it into the "prestige" FT 5K club. :)

Many very active FT posters average 8-10 posts per day. So you can figure 3,000+ posts per year for a poster who is involved with FT 24/7/365.

I crossed 5000 after about 15 months on FT.

Is this an example of a “cross”-post?
