I am here with some very interesting fellow FTers UA NRT RCC.�@�@What a pleasant surprise!!!

This is pretty unreal, meeting everyone in person at NRT!

This is a crazy bunch of people! Where else in the world could you meet up with people making mileage runs and doing regular stuff than at the free pcs in the RCC at NRT? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Try almost any other decent international airport lounge, especially the ones with a beer machine, gotta loooove that beer machine...

Ugh...what did you guys do to the computers http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif They're all out of order now so I had to take a hike over to the SQ SK lounge. I'm not kidding...they're signs saying the internet terminals are out of order.

I usually find shorter lines at the NW WorldClub™, along with better otsumami and the same beer machines (but no showers). The SQ Silver Kris™ lounge doesn't open until 15:30. Is that still correct?

The SQ SK lounge has varying hours. Sorry I didn't note them down but they vary by day. For those who've been to NRT but never to the SQ Silver Kris lounge it's near gates 11-18. It's roughly a 10 minute stroll over there from the NRT RCC. The AA, AF, BA, and CX lounges are also in the same area. SQ lounge has self serve fridge and booze. There is an assortment of dim sum, sushi, ramen noodles, Japanese finger foods, and ice cream here too. They also have an espresso machine. For those who need internet access there are 5 computers in the SQ lounge. I guess the only drawback to this lounge is there are no restrooms here. If you need to use the restroom you physically need to exit the lounge.

Well, they're all in fine working order now. I must say I prefer the NW American keyboard (plus the use of an address bar) to this UA Japanese keyboard -- so slow to type! -- but it is good to see that UA is going after the local market.

This computer area, more specifically the area in front of it at the right rear of the Red Carpet Club lounge, with its two large flat screen TVs and the round tables with bar stools, does seem like an excellent place to party. It was here that I learned that the attack on Iraq had begun.

Well, I'm posting here from the SQ Silver Kris Lounge, courtesy of my UA 1P card (good 4 more days -- wonder when the new one will arrive on its slow boat? -- and a "C" boarding pass courtesy of Gaucho100K's similarly-expiring Sweet Spot.

My wife is trying to take a nap in the Red�@Carpet Club, so I don't know whether such "*A Gold on Business Boarding Pass" access also includes a guest. But don't feel too bad for her; she'll be riding in my seat to JFK.

This place is great! Finished some orange & apple yoghurt, salmon, eel egg, and shrimp sushi, some assorted dumplings, and am now eating green "Matcha Premier" ice cream of subtle flavor.

Oh, yes. My reason for this post. According to the sign out front, the hours are:

0800-1110 & 1515-1830

However, on Fridays the SQ Silver Kris Lounge opens at 0845.
