"FlyerTalk Connection" Website?

Hi everyone;

I was wondering if there would be any interest in a website where you could enter your flight info into a database a la FT Itineraries and be presented with a list of other users who will be laying over at the same airport at the same time, along with contact info.

I like the FT itinerary forum, and have met up with a few people via its postings, but it is timeconsuming to navigate and doesn't get a lot of traffic. If I were to create a quick and easy automated way to check for matches via the web, would you use it? If I get enough interest, I will get started on it. I'm writing my finals right now, but I would think I could mock up something within 14 days.

Please post here with any comments and/or functionality suggestions.

BTW: I realize that this would probably be most approriate on the Itinerary forum, but then I would be technically straying from its intended purpose, wouldn't I? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

If I were a burglar (instead of BigLar http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif ) I would be very interested in learning when high dollar folks weren't at home.

ScottC: Well I'll be darned. You wouldn't happen to know where my prof is storing his exam questions, would you? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

If he were my student he would give up because it isn't the 11th hour for me to create the exam on my own lap top http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

"You wouldn't happen to know where my prof is storing his exam questions, would you?"

Have you asked Conrad Black. Given the way his newspaper company is going, he may have to go back to his first business: selling exam questions to his classmates...
