Meeting up on Thursday 11/27 would work for us. How about meeting at the Pont de l'Alma at either 3:30PM for the 4:00PM bateau mouche ride or at 5:30PM for the 6:00PM ride. After the bateau mouche we can go for drinks and/or dinner (may be too early for dinner after the 4:00PM).

My partner and I are going to invite his cousin and her husband if that's o.k., she runs a restaurant in Paris and could give us some suggestions on where to eat if we decide to go to dinner afterwards.

How does all this sound?

Thurs 11/27, Pont de l'Alma at 5:30PM sounds great to me! And AFAIC, the more the merrier. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

And Vulcan, come on down! While I certainly wouldn't call this a "Do", it seems to be turning into a "Gathering" instead of just a "Meeting".

I have just confirmed my "free" BF seat on CO, Arriving early on the 27th and retruning home on the 29th.

I would prefer the 5:30 on the 27th at the Pont D'Alma as well, to get over a little jet lag. But I could switch to earlier if needed.
Lets keep this thread going.

Well my trip to Paris got postponed for a couple of weeks. On one hand, I feel bad that I can't follow up on my promise. But on the other hand, this little topic may lead to several Flyertalkers having a little more fun in Paris than they had bargained for. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Enjoy Paris!

Right you are. I will continue lurking this thread to see what transpires. We will not arrive until 11/28 and our activities are a bit indefinite, but if something comes up here that looks very "crashable", that could happen. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

I agree holidays are a time for being with family - if you have one!

I'm almost down to only one close relative, and I didn't start off with too many to begin with, so I have always been able to take off and enjoy the holiday for other reasons i.e. the food!

Yum! Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and cranberry sauce (shaped like a can, w/o things) is my favorite meal. Therefore, my goal is to find the the best and the most of it during this holiday : o ) <- oink face

And 4th of July is about BBQ, baked beans and corn on the cob, and Easter is about Ham and Yams, and St. Patrick's Day is about Corned Beef and Cabbage, and ... ooh, I have to stop, MMIW.

Just wanted to say that I'll see everyone at the Pont de l'Alma at 5:30PM Thurs. I'll be wearing a lanyard with a flyertalk luggage tag attached to it (we'll show those Parisians what fashion is all about http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif ) Plus there are some pictures with me in them here. These are from the Flyertalk London Do in Feb. No comment on the one of me with the napkin thingy on my head, it's michswiss's fault http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif.
