We had a good time, I enjoyed meeting a couple of Tucson FlyerTalkers for the first time. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I was disappointed that fredmartens & co didn't make it to the game, I wanted to hear about their motorcycle road trip.

Actually made it to the game, sat in our seats, the people behind us had no idea who FlyerTalk was...so I guess we missed you all. Opted out on the bikes due to the heat & lack of interest...the guys preferred to kick it at the pool & ralax, so we went to Nogales instead. A very relaxing weekend.

Ooops. We were in SEC118/ROW10/SEATS1-6!

Fred, you and I have this odd connection. I feel like I already know you... Eugene, SEA Board Room, Tucson Electric Park... Where else have you been lately? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Did a SEA-MIA-SEA run on 7/26-7/27 on AS, but other than that, you're right, seems we've been kinda "shadowing" each other. I'm sure I'll run into you one of these days, TW1. I get into PHX and TUS about 6-7 times a year (or more into TUS when the Valium supply runs out and I have to go to Nogales... :*) I had no idea Crown Royal was so inexpensive down there...they had a sale at UETA, $12 USD for a litre of CR. Wow. It's $27 for a 750 up here.

The great thing is (heresy, you say!) is that I don't have to fly again until I go to NYC on 9/12. I've travelled enough this year to have already re-qual'd for AA EXP and AS MVPG; I only have 13 trips (about 55K) of travel left the rest of the year, so I get to spend more time with the Harleys and the homestead for awhile.

The most depressing thing of all, however, is that I will once again (due to stupid planning on my part) miss SeaDoo here in September because I'll be in New York with my sis...a sports oriented weekend, as she's ...'t to the Pres at Sports Illustrated. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to meet up with some of you yet!

I'll be in the Seattle area from 24-27AUG. On the 24th, I'm going to the Eagles concert. On the 27th, I fly out of SEA at 0600P. Let me know if you're available and would like to get together.

Sounds like a potential mini-SeaDoo in the offing the 25th or 26th...should another thread be started for a casual dinner and (perhaps) wine quaffing? I've a few bottles in the cellar begging to be de-corked...

Sure. It will need to be someplace accessible though, as I am returning my rental car on the afternoon of the 25th downtown.
