Here's my 2,000 post -- Wished I could have gotten it within one year, but was a little bogged down :)

What I've learned from Flyertalk over the past year I've been on (since April 22nd, 23rd?)
  • There are other people out there who are just as mile-crazed as you are
  • Miles don't grow on trees
  • Don't feel the trolls
  • I'm not the only one who stays up at midnight central time to see if the EAU/EUA ran correctly
  • There are people who practically live on airlines. I could never make traveling my life.
  • The newest buzz is not what's happening with the Executive Branch or with the world today, but what new type of aircraft airline X is acquiring in the next few years or what routes are being introduced.
  • There's always some bad eggs out there in airline employee land
  • Miletracker is your best friend
  • Never knew people did MRs.
  • Never knew there was actually an organization devoted to points and miles.
  • Free status can be acheived.
  • FT is addicting.

And I'm sure there's more, but a big thanks to all those who've helped me out these past 2,000 posts.

Over 5,000.... with maybe 50 actually related to miles, points, or travel. ;)

That doesnt mean anything. I have more posts than myefre and yet have approx 230,000 BIS miles since I joined last Nov.
