As part of a multi-mission trip, it'd be great meet up with some FTers for post-banking hours eats/nibbles. Anyone around? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif I'll be staying somewhere on N./S. Mich Ave ... likely one of the Hiltons, but am not adverse to meeting somewhere within reasonable cabbing distance.

My arm might be twisted into attending. I put it on my calendar.

I know I'm not travelling that week, so I should be around.

I will be in ORD on the 14th from approx 3-5pm, connecting onto LHR.

Anyone up for a visit to the FL or AC or CRC?

Oddly enough, I also will be in Chicago that weekend, but don't know my schedule yet. Staying on N. Michigan. Keep me posted if you pick a time and I'll try to make it.

There is a tendancy to have these meetings on a Friday night when I'm just about arriving at ORD for destinations unknown. Why can't we have these things during the week? I'm beginning to wonder...

Moi? Hide? Never!! Since these usually happen at night, the sun can't turn me into dust.

Tell ya what ... I'll leave the meeting point up to you Chicagoites as I really haven't a clue where a good place to meet might be. My only request is that there be something yummy to nibble on within my (student) budget. I pretty much eat anything ...

Hello all,

I'll be in ORD to catch the 5pm Heathrow flight on BA. It'd be great to meet up with a few of you (for my first ever FT get-together). I've been around two years; its about time http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif.

Well it looks like there may be at least four (or more) of us at ORD on a Friday afternoon sometime in the near future...

If anyone's up for meeting for a drink, snack, light meal, or 24oz steak dinner, that would be great.

It looks like Spiff, Disgruntled Goat, Essxjay, and myself should all be around. I would guess that meeting somewhere in T3 before security might be the easiest. To tell you the truth, though, I have never connected anywhere in ORD except T1, so what do you all think?

Looks like we've got a couple of meet-up ops going here: one at ORD ~3-5 p.m., and then later at a location/time TBD.

I'm booked at the Palmer House, and am amenable to any suggestions on when and where to meet up. Pizza and beer is fine, as is a bar with something decent to nibble on or ??? Does 6:30 p.m. work as a meeting time?

6:30 may be a bit early for you...depending on the ORD crowd!

Nah. Most of 'em are wheels up around 5 so I'll be southbound on the Blue Line by 4:30 I imagine.

6:30pm downtown would be fine.
