* * . . . Happy Valentines Day! . . . * *

It is already 5.45 am February 14 here, so the timing is perfect.

To all those on FT who during your own February 14th will share or partake or participate in this happy tradition ... have a great day. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Joh has one of these on the way, and who knows ...... I may even get to share the non-flower part of it. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Nah. Male PRAGMATIC more like.

I learnt long ago you cannot drink roses. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Who else here is sending or has received flowers/cards etc?

No flowers here... surprising my partner with a Cyndi Lauper concert tonite.

A day early... he should be real surprised.

While I prefer to send flowers on random days (Happy Thursday, Happy Monday, etc.), I'll still be buying her flowers for Valentines to go along with our quiet dinner...One thing I learned early...even if they say they don't want flowers, not getting her any is likely to send you to the doghouse... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Unfortunately my baby has to work in Cape Town right now so no presents tomorrow http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

I think I might heed this piece of advice...although it pisses me off how the price of roses seem to escalate exponentially as Valentine's day approaches!

Mrs. Law Lord is getting a tiara. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

After last year's fiasco when my flowers finally arrived at 6pm on 15th Feb as they had been delivered to the wrong address on the 14th - I told Mr Susie Q not to bother his secretary again and to make the arrangements himself! I doubt very much if I'll be getting flowers this year.
He is trying to get on tonights late flight from Singapore and will land at 11.50pm.

We will celebrate tomorrow with a day out at the Johnnie Walker Classic Golf Tournament and the John Farnham concert in the evening.

Now doesn't that sound romantic? I can drool over Ernie Els and Johnnie F, much better than the overpriced roses. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Valentines Day...bah humbug! This single & recently unattached female is spending the first part of the evening on an airplane, and then the rest of the evening trying to avoid couples enjoying the evening!
