Well I'm off to Ft Laud today for about a week and a half, maybe two. Found out a close friend was in a near-death scuba diving accident and it gave me an excuse to make this a business trip as well.... Have to rework our business plan/prospectus (aka start from scratch) and that could take up to 2 weeks... so it's gonna be a tough life sittin on the beach on the Galt Mile on a laptop :P got our intial $5k lined up, just need 10k more, would be happy at 25k in funding. but i'm finally doing something w/ my life other than travel (and I'll keep doing it). And the ex-bf is doing better, they said his body is doing good in the depressurization stage, but think there may be some brain damage... he was diving @ 200 feet and ran out of air, go figure. By the time he got to the surface he was totally unconscious

Just wanted to let all my SE Fl FTers know I'll be available to hang out.... I'll be as far north as Jupiter Inlet and the furthest south I'll go is Kendall (no Opa Locka please, I hate going through there on Tri-Rail, let alone going to a restaurant to meet!).

I am suppose to leave on the 27th but that may be extended until after the 4th.

In terms of low fare searches, I'll try to see if I can sneak in a Carlson Wagonlit office and get them done or pray Worldspan GO! is back. And for my *PAID* subscribers, I will do my best to get you the fares in a timely fashion and credit you a week of service if I can't get them out by Tuesday.

well i have been trying to contact his parents to find out *exactly* what happened.... and I tried a few area hospitals and none said he's there *grr*

I'm wondering if he's in the Bahamas... but I'm going to follow crankyusi's advice and call the Coast Guard.. see if they have any info on it..
