I've been out of pocket, with the last of the Labor Day/Summer travel season. This one's been a real challenging one to make projections for. Kind of thought I'd be in NYC this week on business, but I'm here.

I can take two (three is stretching it) in my car. I figure 2 Many Miles will ride with me, since he'll be staying across the street from my office!

That leaves one more person I can take from the Hilton @ I-635 (LBJ Freeway), if anyone else stays there, or DFW, or elsewhere. (Edited information.)

I'm taking that Friday off, so I can have a long weekend. As bollar stated, I'm working on the Friday dinner.

I should amend my original carpool offer to state that I will give rides to everything EXCEPT Cool River on Saturday night.

Why?

Because I live close enough that I can walk home should I need to... therefore I don't plan to have to be driving. I'll suggest cabs to the others (although I'll graciously offer up my floor if need be)!

With sincere regret, I have to let everyone know I will be unable to attend after all.

Please know that I was looking forward to meeting all of you, and hopefully will be able to some time in the future.

If circumstances change, I'll try and come, but as of now, it's not looking good.

Live from TPE, I have just updated the PIM website. I will also be able to take up to 3 other Flyertalkers to all events. Also, I am thinking of organizing a field trip Sunday Late morning to go eat lunch at Joe T Garcia's since our plan of dinner was unfortunately not possible there. It's a place not to be missed. Just email me if you are interested.

Is the Cool River Cafe part of AA dining program?

I'm local, and will be driving from Far North Dallas. I'm happy to offer lifts to up to 3 others.

No, they are not and that reminds me that they also are not able to accomodate separate checks for the main meal.

I would like to provide a facility for our guests to pay in advance via PayPal, but I have not received the committee's approval to do that yet.
