BTW, re: the DFW Airport Tour, though I haven't been told otherwise, I'm skeptical that we'll actually be allowed into the secured area. I expect the tour will be more of a presentation on the current state of the airport along with the future plans for expansion.

I have had a last minute change of plans. I will be able to attend the Friday afternoon tour of DFW but will have to leave Dallas after that.

I won't be able to attend Saturday night dinner as planned. If it is non-refundable please give my space to someone who hasn't paid yet.

Sorry for the last minute notice. My gf was suppose to be going to NY but cancelled her plans so now she is dragging me down to Houston for the w/e.

Urgent update on the DFW Airport tour tomorrow!

I wasn't going to post this now as I am still not sure if I am coming (no tix yet, reworking plans, etc) but I just remembered the board will be down for part of tomorrow.

I was wondering where the majority of people are staying? Does anyone want to split room coasts?. Could one of the organizers forward me a copy of a recent email with the event info?

I just want to once again thank all those who attended the Party In The Metroplex, and the Planning Team of bollar, Leesa, applefan, and techgirl, for all of their efforts and hard work in putting things together.

Also, thanks to our AA contact (you know who you are!) for making the effort to try to help in the AA portions of the gathering.

I hope all of you enjoyed being in the company of other FT'ers, and hopefully, you picked up some informative tips to use on your next trip!

I will post my observations of this past weekend in Trip Reports sometime tomorrow. As a tease, I learned that during the AA Tour yesterday, the Texas pronunciation of "simulator" is "sim-uh-later."
