Bringing this to the top for those who wondered about Daisy.
|
Thank you, Comicwoman.
I wasn't too far off target with my guess that Daisy was either an animal or an inflatable doll; sounds like she's been considered as both. I'm also sort of thankful that I don't have to head into Chat for my mano-a-mano with PremEx. |
LMAO!! Too funny!
So, did anyone ensure that Daisy enrolled in Mileage Plus before she took this trip? LOL Studley [This message has been edited by studley (edited 09-17-2001).] |
Thanks comicwoman for bringing this great thread forward! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
I really hate to darken it a bit, but as I was re-reading it laughing myself silly, I came across Scott the Flyer's post about half way down page one, where he mentions bringing Daisy to me aboard United Flight 175 from Boston to LAX. Let me tell you, I went from laughing to a sharp shiver and goose bumps in about one second. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif |
I was going to point that out, but I edited the post and removed the reference. I didn't want to put a damper on things. Studley |
On a lighter note:
Does anyone remember the "Original" Daisy, from the Party in Paridise? You know, the sheep that was thrown about from aisle to aisle upstairs on the 747 (she was stuffed and had she had NO holes). Well this thread reminded me of her. Two weeks ago she departed for a new adventure. X Wing cleaned out his closet and Daisy went to the Salvation Army to find a new home. I am sure she has been adopted already. |
Ahhh Daisy, Daisy, Daisy I still remember Koko doing those unnatural things to her on the streets of Dusseldorf. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/redface.gif Only our prying eyes kept her save from that leering madman that night !! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif Oh I can't wait for another night like that one Alt Alt Alt . http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif
------------------ Cheers Scott |
Sorry to bump this old thread...
but anyone have a picture of Daisy?
|
I think there was one of her and the notorious koko taken on the streets of Düsseldorf posted on FlyerTalk at one time. Have to look for it when I can get the free time.

Also FWIW I recall the new TOS wording states: Avoid Bumping Very Old Threads - Unless there is a compelling reason, avoid bumping threads that are more than two years old. Often the information is out-dated and it clogs the forums, making it difficult to find current threads. |

Ah ha, looks I've just run across the bizarre side of FT. I'll just say hello and slow back myself out the doorway I came in. Ta Ta.

comicwoman, here's a post mentioning Daisy in Dusseldorf in 2000. In the DUS thread, several folks had links to photos, but I couldn't find a one that currently works. You might contact Mizu, ozstamps, and blondebomber. PremEx mentions in other threads of that era being a sheep loving, cigar smoking guy. It might be worth a shout to him as well.
Good luck! |
