Chicago evening of Aug 30
Cleveland boy heads to big city.
OK, so I've been there 96 times, but I treat each trip as if its the first. Any FTer would be great to powwow with, but I specialize in UA and 'other various and sundry mileage stuff'!!
Will be based by ORD, but always willing to zip downtown.

Gees, it looks like I will miss a second get-together in a week's time. Am scheduled to be on UA 966 ORD - AMS around 5ish on the 30th (aren't SWUs the best!). Are you going to be at ORD that afternoon?

Unfortunately, I have a work commitment that evening.
If you're around on Saturday morning, a couple of us are going to try and meet Rudi at ORD for a couple of minutes when he is in transit.

Are you in Chicago only on the 30th? I have a commitment that evening but are you available during the day or after the 30th? I'm a former Cleveland area boy myself...having grown up about 25 miles southwest of the city in Elyria. Would be good to meet you...that is if you can tolerate a loyal AA flyer!
Bill
(edited to make some sense...that will teach me not to post until I've had tea or coffee!)

Two of my college roommates were from the suburbs of Cleveland. Do they still call it "The Mistake by the Lake?" Go Tribe!!
If anyone's plans change, I will be at O'Hare on the 30th in the afternoon waiting to board UA 966 to AMS.

I will be through on my AA Mileage Run to Taipei, mid evening arrival on Thursday and overnighting at the Four Points. If you want to grab a beer somewhere near ORD, drop an email tomorrow. [One of my best friends is from Cleveland, and she showed me around the city a year ago when I was there, but the ballgame was sold out! I was also a big fan of Martin Mull back in his folk singing days, when he tried to make "Fire on the Caiyuhoga River" a Top 40 hit, and failed...]

My cousin went to IU, lived in McNutt as a freshman...and he's from Beachwood. He's 41.
I live in the suburb between Beachwood and S Euclid- University Hts.
You can keep Bobby, I'll take Bo any day (Go Blue!)

I will spare the rest of this fine group the sordid details, so I will e-mail you from work tomorrow. Both of them are approx 42, and before they lived in our frat, they may have been in McNutt too. But we're talking a quarter of a century now - i'm digging here! Go Blue? - I'll take Big Red anyday, and admit it took IU too long to get rid of the General.
