I also trawl for Elites. When sitting in FC, if I catch the boarding pass for a seatmate and it shows status, I'll ask if they know about FT.

On my last trip, I was sitting with a guy who was clueless about Elite. He'd purchased an E-Ticket and was shocked to get a FC boarding pass. He'd booked 17F or something. I gave him the website so he can see the light. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I have dual AN and 1K tags on my case, which would be a fairly unusual combo in most airports outside of Australia I'd wager http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif Certainly makes it easy to spot my own - I look for the AN logo first, then the 1K tag!

Unfortunately I have never seen any FT tags except mine...

Yah, this describes me too! Ha, Ha! Anyway, I proudly wore my FT neon, can't miss FT tag on the outside of my bright blue convertible purse/backpack/carry-on from SNA-SEA on Aug 10, results: nada.

Then, all through the cities of Vancouver, Victoria and Whistler and the Ferries in between, results: again, nothing. Then again flying home SEA-SNA and, still, results: zilch.

Maybe LAX-HGK-BKK in early Sept will do it. Let you know.
