thanx to all who joined me on this trip. it was really great putting more faces to flyertalk names.

i'm just now getting back home on tuesday. i missed my 1:45am flight monday morning because i was on another incredible roll at the craps table that i just was not going to walk away from. the money i won made all the standby situations yesterday a bit more tolerable. i stayed in new orleans last night, and drove home this morning. now i'm going to take a couple of days, and recover from my "vacation".

again, it was great meeting you all. i'm looking forward to our next 'board meeting'.

Thanks for putting it all together. It had drama, it had gambling, it had margaritas, and it even had toenail clippers as gifts!!! What more could you ask for!!!

for those of you who haven't heard this sad tale, shadow and i were at a craps table when this shady-looking guy (looked kinda down on his luck) was throwing the dice. neither of us wanted to "waste" any money by betting with him, because we knew he would be crapping out in no time. well, "no time" turned out to be about a 30 minute run. the money we could have made on that one roll, well, we're still kicking ourselves.

i agree, shadow, this was a very enjoyable ft gathering -- and that's not just the margaritas talking...
